Agrippa von Nettesheim

Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim can be seen as the most predominant Hermetic magician of Western Magic. Simply because he – as the first one since antiquity – collected and systemized the occult traditions of his day into a workable system. He epitomizes thus the archetype of the learned magician, in which he got Support by the several myths that surrounded his Person. He was known for his familiars, his traffic with Spirits, his alchemy and so on…
But I especially like him, as his attitude isn´t that of a sorcerer, looking for worldly goods, but that of a true seeker of divine wisdom. He could have standed in the Tradition of Franz Bardon – thus we find in Agrippa von Nettesheim another part of the great chain of the universal brotherhood of magicians…
